MATERIAL REVERIES

We were pleased to be showing work in the delightful exhibition space at the Allen Gallery in Alton, Hampshire.

​

This was our first exhibition of 2025:  11 members of Consuo displayed a representative selection of their work which included skilled and often unconventional examples of hand stitch, tapestry, off-loom weaving, natural and pigment dyeing, sculptural knitting, basketry, passementerie weaving, textile book art and mixed media collage.

​

Each artist brings their own perspective and particular expertise and whilst the origins and inspirations for these pieces are highly individual, visitors will detect common threads and thought provoking dialogues between the works.
